About Us

Our lab traces its origin to the DSP lab, which Prof. Chin co-directed with Prof. Trac Tran in the ECE Department of Johns Hopkins University (JHU). When Prof. Chin moved from JHU to Boston University (BU) back in 2013, he started the LISP Lab in the Computer Science Department.

As of July 2022, the LISP lab has now moved to Thayer School of Engineering at Dartmouth. We are interested in the mathematical theory of learning (using differential geometry, graph theory, and computational topology), the neuroscientific basis of intelligence, advanced algorithms for signal processing (such as compressive sampling theory), and human interaction via game theory. If you are interested in any of these topics above, please come join us. Both undergraduate and graduate students are welcomed!
